New Projects

I can't wait until I start on these two projects. I always have loved needlework.It's the must relaxing thing in the world to me.Sewing,knitting, needlepoint, you name it. If it has needles I love it.As you all know, I love owls,and "Autumn Storybook" designed by Amy Schimler above is to die for. I can't wait until I make it for little Frankie.As the year grow older,maybe toward the fall,I want to have at least 5 to 10 blankets each, for everyone in the cold weather.I know it not even closes to the fall. but every time I read something, the writer always says they start the project in the summer.So I guess I'm going to go with the crowd on this one. I love all the browns and textures on it. I adore how homey it is. I can see Frankie cuddling with it watching his cartoon, or taking a nap.
And look that these one you guys. Don't you just love it?. I plan on making this one for Beverly. It's Called "Sweet Birdie" and designed by Allison Jane Smith. It's so girly. I am in Love with it.I want to make a set for Beverly with it. I think I'm going to make a bumper and 2 blankets,one for her crib& another for just her to lazy about with ride in her stroller.(Come to thing about it, I just may make her sheets as well).The pale colors are baby enough for her now and girly for her later I just can't get over the applique of the bird.I will be saving to buy my fabric soon.
